Berry and Bright
I read somewhere recently that breakfast bowls are some type of millennial fad. I don't really put food on my plate based on what's trending. If this is so last year I am still feeling it. I am comfortable with being off trend. Where my food is concerned at least lol. Breakfast bowls give me life, literally! I get a pick me up in the morning after eating one. The various flavors are a burst of pleasant delights in my mouth. This combination of part smoothie part meal is nutritious and delicious. As a mom of two who home schools, I am busy. Breakfast bowls are also super easy and effortless. Chop up fruit and blend, garnish and eat. There are so many variations of breakfast bowls. This one I call dragon fruit berry banana bliss. I typically eyeball my ingredients as I cook. Blueberries, strawberries, dragon fruit chunks, almond milk, and banana are the basics. This bowl is effortless. I add about a scoop of plant-based protein, garnish with coconut shavings strawberries, granola and enjoy.
